Here we go, another new sort-of feature of the site for you lot to get involved with. Hitsville Classics is essentially a collaborative Spotify playlist (much like our Christmas song one) open to any and all our readers. The concept is, everyone adds somewhere between one and five songs that they consider bonafide, 100%, five big gold star classics. Eventually, and hopefully, we’ll end up with an intriguing and eclectic mix of music and opinion. For the nosey ones amongst you, my five picks were “Bigger Than Us” by White Lies, “Avril 14th” by Aphex Twin, Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, the Manics’ “Faster” and “This Charming Man” by The Smiths.
